- With standard IC and common lead dimensions (2.54mm pitch x 7.26 mm), the KDS Series switches support serial mounting on IC-pitch printed circuit boards. What's more, this design also facilitates consolidation with other electronic components so that high-density packing may be realized.
- Mounting efficiency has been further enhanced through the rounding of tail tips.
- Kinked tails hold switch to PC board during soldering
- In addition to binary-decimal and binary-hexadecimal circuit configurations (each supporting either real or complement code), the connectors of the KDS Series features four different types of control section shape for wide-ranging applications.
Flat type: Operated using the tip of a screwdriver (of 3mm width)
Indicator type: In addition to supporting operation by a screwdriver, this switch`s right-angle design also facilitates operation from the side.
Knob type: Supports operation by hand.
Shaft type: Operated using the tip of a screwdriver (of 3 to 5mm width); furthermore, the panel surface and control section can also be arranged in parallel.
- RoHS compliance
KDS Series
Rotary DIP Code Switch
In addition to a pair of coding varieties - namely, binary decimal and binary hexadecimal - the KDS Series of rotary-code DIP switches also provides four different types of control section shape (flat, indicator, knob, and shaft), thus facilitating use in a wide range of different applications.
