■ KEL is releasing RoHS-compliant 2.54mm-pitch "PCC05 Series」" sockets for PLCC packages.
The specifications are as follows:

[Non RoHS-compliant (previous products)]
・Contact plating: tin alloy over copper
[RoHS-compliant]
・Contact plating: reflown pure tin over copper

KEL will not release 100-contact versions compliant with RoHS requirements.

・Last date for ordering non RoHS-compliant products: May 31, 2006
・Date for start of sales of RoHS-compliant products: February 16, 2006
