1mm Pitch 2 Piece Connector for Media Device (Right Angle SMT)
photoKEL has developed the DJ Series of connectors in order to provide two-piece, 1.0-mm pitch solutions for "next-generation" removable-media applications.
The male connectors of this series feature a flexible right-angle SMT design that allows free selection of coupling alignments (four types).
In addition to providing a coupling guide mechanism - highly useful in removable-media situations - a contact anti-buckling mechanism, and strength-boosting fixing jigs, the extremely considerate design of these connectors also features devices to prevent incorrect insertion and the like.
The DJ33/34 Series facilitates the insertion and removal of hard disks, CD-ROM drives, batteries, and the like while the device is powered up in the form of hot-swap compatibility, while also supporting the connection of inter-device frame grounds.
What`s more, as further proof of the ideal nature of this series in removable-media applications, it includes power-pin type connectors featuring isolated left and right power-supply pins, which are most useful in the supply of power to battery packs.
